An adventurer's paradise, Belize is a peaceful, English-speaking country with a wide range of adventure opportunities unmatched by any other country. From our "living Barrier Reef" which is the longest unbroken living reef in the world, to our rich Cultural centers in the Southern and Western regions of the country and not to mention the myriad of cave and mangrove eco systems scattered throughout the country. The government of Belize has designated a whopping 40% of the country’s' parks and natural reserves as "Protected Areas" with the vision of not only Eco Tourism but also sustainable development. The people are as warm and friendly as the 85 degree year round climate.

Belize is a country of various cultures, languages and ethnic groups. With an approximate population of 270,000 people, Belize’s' ethnic breakdown consists of Creole, Garifuna, Mestizo, Spanish, Maya, English, Mennonite, Lebanese, Chinese, and East Indians. Due to ethnic and religious harmony, all of these different elements compliment each other beautifully, thus Belize has gained a distinctive reputation for its' friendly people.

Adding to Belize's unique advantage in this region, is its geographical diversity. Resting on the Caribbean coast, between Mexico and Guatemala, Belize offers visitors the very best of Central American and the Caribbean. Mainland attractions include diverse tropical flora and fauna including rare birds and elusive cats such as the jaguar; majestic Maya temples that tower above surrounding jungle canopies; complex underwater caves filled with intricate Maya pottery, impressive waterfalls; rivers and rainforests. Offshore attractions include hundreds of island locally known as "Cayes" (pronounced keys), three of the Caribbean's four coral atolls, and Belize's Great Barrier Reef, the longest in the Western Hemisphere and the longest living barrier reef in the world. In a single day you can go from tropical forest to the splendors of the barrier reef.

Our hotel is located on the 4th floor of the newly constructed Belize pickwick building offering a panoramic view of the Caribbean coast from many areas of the hotel, primarily the balcony area where you will find a cool and relaxing lounge area.
